TRADITIONAL NEW-COUNTRY ARTIST

David Latham headshot Hammond, Indiana born, David Latham recorded two songs in California using various band members of Dwight Yoakam, Hoyt Axton, Jann Browne and Paulette Carlson. The songs, from Nashville, were "Takin' You In" written by Rod Stone and Pete Alexander and "(I'm Getting) Too Close To An Old Flame" written by Sandy Ramos and Jerry Vandiver. The sessions were produced by Garth Shaw (a former road manager for Kenny Rogers and Sawyer Brown).

The initial response was strong, prompting a move to Nashville. David lived in Southern California for several years, winning numerous talent shows at the world-famous Crazy Horse Saloon (ACM night club of the year), where he hopes to return someday as a headliner.

David's heros are Elvis Presley ("the greatest performer in history"), George Jones ("he's had hard times and good times, but has always stayed true to his music and fans") and his father ("he taught me pride and to never give up").

David has lived in Nashville for ten years now, performing on a number of live radio shows, including Live At Libby's, and winning many more talent shows. He also appeared as a contestant on Be A Star which aired on TNN and The New Original Amateur Hour.

David has been honing his craft at songwriting and working with some of Nashville's best road and studio musicians. David Latham Souvenirs is now online for fans.

David is available for demos, is always looking for great songs and is working towards a record deal. For more information and/or a copy of David Latham's tape/CD, call (615) 780-2997, send E-mail or write the following address:
