The Bellamy Brothers are the winners of the International Artist Achievement Award. The Award was presented during pre-telecast festivities for "The 36th Annual CMA Awards" Nov. 6. The award recognizes outstanding achievement by an artist who contributes to the awareness and development of Country Music outside North America. For more than 25 years, the Bellamy Brothers have toured extensively around the globe, bringing Country Music to distant locations including Bahrain, Ecuador, the Faroe Islands, Fiji, France, Macedonia, Norway, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates. They have also performed for both NATO and the USO in Bosnia, Guam, Italy, Japan, Kosovo and Yugoslavia, and were recently inducted into the Germany Country Music Hall of Fame.
